  • Working with the director of client engagement and the executive marketing director to establish and execute a consistent content calendar.

  • Repurposing and repackaging existing client work and insights for our social media channels.

  • Maintaining knowledge of timely, relevant topics, and identifying opportunities to tie them to social-first content.

  • Regularly measuring and optimizing social traffic to drive engagement, web traffic, and leads.

  • Actively seeking to understand platform and user engagement trends, and capitalizing on them to build on our existing social media content in new and exciting ways.

  • Executing organic and paid content and campaigns to attract meaningful engagement on our social channels.

  • Consistently monitoring and reporting web and social media analytics.

To be successful in this role:

  • You’re a driven individual who has a positive attitude and can collaborate and motivate your peers to support your efforts.

  • You welcome direction and respond positively to feedback.

  • You’re not afraid to ask questions and to seek out help or answers when you get stuck.

  • You have strong conceptual and strategic skills, especially for developing and curating content that crosses all platforms.

  • You can work consistently in a variety of mediums and formats, with a passion for always learning more.

  • You can manage multiple tasks and timelines, providing good, effective work against tight deadlines.

  • You are business-minded and work hard to hit outreach and engagement goals.

  • Four to six years of marketing experience, with a firm knowledge of social media.

  • Experience in executing a social media strategy for an organization, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Snapchat, and a clear understanding of how content should be used on each platform. (Our preference is for experience managing accounts for higher education audiences.)
