Each spring, universities scramble to convert admitted students to enrolled. Capital University was looking for a new way to keep potential students engaged during this critical period. Enter Mascot Mayhem, a site designed specifically for these potential students, that gave them a window into Capital’s culture before they ever set foot on campus.
Any potential student could use the site to make a ridiculous request of Capital’s mascot, Cappie. The best entries were chosen, and Capital’s admissions team filmed the mascot acting out the students’ demands. In the process, those students got a glimpse of Capital’s campus and culture, and were able to connect with their new classmates before orientation even started.
