As part of the launch of a new academic campaign for Purdue University held during homecoming, Ologie commissioned three installations that took larger-than-life accomplishments and ideas from the university, and made them real. A 12-foot-tall moon represented the contributions of Purdue alumni (like Neil Armstrong) to NASA and the space program. A giant #2 pencil illustrated the strength of Purdue’s Online Writing Lab—known the world over. And a huge seismograph celebrated a Purdue professor’s efforts to rebuild Haiti quickly and safely.
