In working with Columbus State Community College, we recently launched something unusual: an admissions campaign aimed at students who will eventually transfer. But it’s not as odd as it sounds. The “Go” campaign emphasizes the college’s agreements with dozens of four-year institutions (as well as its modest tuition rates) and encourages students to take the first step toward their educational goals at Columbus State.
A philosophy piece helps prospective students envision themselves on campus and offers them a glimpse of the Columbus State experience. The campaign also includes a series of banners installed along walkways, and a wallscape eight stories tall featured prominently at the center of campus.
