As one of the largest banks in the country, PNC enjoys strong brand recognition throughout its traditional footprint. But when the company expanded recently into the southeastern U.S., it needed to quickly build awareness of its corporate banking capabilities, despite a smaller retail presence in the area.
Working with the company’s Corporate and Institutional Banking Group, Ologie developed an awareness campaign that focused on a simple message of building strong relationships. The creative work highlighted attributes that PNC is well known for in this space: broad capabilities, innovative thinking, and exceptional people.
The campaign broke in early 2013 with a series of print ads placed in key business journals; the messaging has since been extended to digital and outdoor media.
