Chairperson and Founder

Bev founded Ologie in 1987 and has grown the company into an award-winning branding and marketing firm. Her vision and passion for generating big ideas and disruptive work have brought Ologie repeated national recognition. A true creative at heart, she remains hands-on with many projects, leading work for clients such as the University of Kentucky, Carnegie Mellon University, Hartwick College, Pratt Institute, and Rochester Institute of Technology.

Recognized as one of Columbus’s 30 most influential women by Business First, Bev continues to be engaged in the community, particularly helping aspiring women leaders become successful, and providing opportunities for young people to learn about the creative industry. She studied at Columbus College of Art and Design, which awarded her an honorary doctorate in 2012.

Vice Chairperson

Bill guides the client-facing areas at Ologie, including research and strategy, account management, and business development. With a unique background in design, research, and business, he spends most of his time developing strategies that improve brand awareness, enrollment, alumni and donor engagement, and institutional reputation. He has worked with a wide range of institutions, including Texas A&M University, Virginia Tech, Purdue University, the Smithsonian Institution, Grinnell College, and Northwestern University.

Prior to Ologie, Bill spent 12 years at global branding agency Landor Fitch, ultimately as North American CEO, where he oversaw more than 300 consultants in offices from Boston to Seattle. He holds a bachelor’s degree in design from The Ohio State University and an MBA from OSU’s Fisher College of Business.

Fernando is a recognized marketer who leads Ologie with a strong belief that the agency’s best work happens when its people feel empowered, supported, and clear on where Ologie is headed. His focus is on building momentum, simplifying decisions, and keeping creative excellence at the center. He works at the intersection of audience behavior, human-led strategies, and AI and privacy trends to help organizations prepare for what comes next.

He stays close to the work and has partnered with Carnegie Mellon, Texas A&M University, William Paterson University, Little League International, UC Davis, Vanderbilt University, the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, the University of Pittsburgh, Rowan University, and AEP. Outside of Ologie, he mentors emerging talent and partners with organizations working to expand access to creative and tech careers.

Paul sets the tone for the agency’s creative process and craft, with a sharp focus on leadership that is all about bringing out the best in those around him. With over 20 years of experience that spans brand design, advertising, retail, and experiential design, he works alongside our wildly talented creatives to seek out the routes that elevate the impact and quality of our work for clients. He’s led many of Ologie’s award-winning campaigns, including work with Fordham University, Hampshire College, Princeton SPIA, Purdue University, Stanford University, and Little League International.

Lindsay oversees Ologie’s team of first-rate project managers, drawing on over 15 years of experience in resource management and agency operations, as well as print, digital, and video production. She’s also responsible for the systems, processes, and software solutions that we use to streamline the agency’s workload and deliver for our clients. She has contributed to the success of many clients over the years, including Auburn University, the University of Michigan, the Smithsonian Institution, the University of California San Diego, Texas A&M University, and the Ascension Foundation.

Becca serves Ologie as a trusted senior advisor on branding, marketing, and engagement strategies. With 20 years of experience spanning university and agency leadership, she combines deep sector knowledge with a rare, macro-level perspective on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. Known for her ability to navigate complexity and build strategic partnerships, Becca helps purpose-driven organizations elevate their brands, strengthen connections with their audiences, and achieve meaningful outcomes. Some of her Ologie partners have included Cornell University, the University of Kentucky, the University of Missouri, Ashland University, and the Ohio Department of Higher Education.

Chief Strategy Officer

Doug leads a team of researchers and strategists who explore complex marketing challenges through mixed-method research approaches that reveal deep insights and inspire great creative work. He then translates insight into strategies that make data useful for marketers so they can achieve results for their organization. He has done so for Little League International, FFA, Smithsonian Institution, the University of Florida, UC Davis, Carnegie Mellon University, Vanderbilt University, and many others.

Matthew Freedman

Chief Operating Officer

Matt rejoined Ologie in December 2022 as our chief operating officer. In this role he oversees finance, human resources, facilities, and technology. He’s extremely familiar with Ologie, having previously spent seven years with us as the leader of our client partnership team. He knows Ologie, and he’s a great asset to us, making sure that key aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. Matt also leads many of our ESOP-related efforts and is a member of Ologie’s ESOP board.

As leader of the client partnership team, Jen collaborates with internal partners and team leaders throughout the project to ensure that what we deliver meets their goals. She brings unique experience from her time working in higher education as an enrollment management and marketing leader. During her time at Ologie, she has directed projects for clients such as Fordham University, TCU Neeley School of Business, Trinity College, Case Western Reserve University, and William Paterson University.

Chief Digital and Media Officer

Kyle is an award-winning designer, writer, and overall creative human. For more than 16 years, he’s used his peculiar mind to make Ologie’s clients shine. As chief digital and media officer, he leads our DM studio, bringing campaign and web work to life across the agency. Even though he still owns an iPhone with a home button, he stays abreast of current and future digital trends to keep our work sharp. When not doing this, he travels, watches too many movies, and spends time with his two dogs and one wife, trying hard to take it easy.

Dawn brings to her role a keen eye for detail and a breadth of experience in branding, marketing, and communications strategy, while building strong relationships with key influencers and decision makers. An avid brand advocate and passionate trend watcher, she brings 30 years of experience on both the agency and client sides of the business. Before joining Ologie, she handled publicity, branding, and marketing for one of the world’s most award-winning health care agencies.
