Turning failure into fuel

Cal Poly’s “Learn by Doing” ethos was well known in California, but not beyond the state’s borders. To change that, the university partnered with Ologie to launch an awareness and enrollment campaign that introduced Cal Poly to new markets. The work celebrates one of the things that makes the school distinct: a culture where failure isn’t feared, but is seen as essential to success. We applied the message across tactics ranging from train wraps and billboards to podcast spots and digital displays. And it’s resonating: Early results show the campaign exceeding benchmarks and gaining strong momentum.
